Introduction

A National Pathology Laboratory Group in the Pacific Northwest, approached Gistia Healthcare AI with a requirement to enable their client services and sales teams to associate rules preferences with existing providers. The client lacked a system to allocate rules to providers and did not have a procedure to endorse contracts for rules subscriptions. Additionally, they required a mechanism to enable providers and client services teams to subscribe to existing rules that execute varied actions based on specific conditions.

Objectives

Gistia Healthcare AI aimed to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Develop a custom interface using Lightning Web Components to associate rules preferences with existing providers.
  • Augment DxFlow by adding an auto-assignment capability for provider's rule preferences.
  • Integrate with DocuSign to automatically generate a contract for selected rules and send it to the provider for signature.
  • Allow users to save preferences for onsite or online signature.
  • Ingest rules and send rules associated with provider data to LigoLab.

Process

To achieve the objectives, Gistia Healthcare AI added new features to the Provider Ordering Console and configured DxFlow to integrate with Operational Data Layer. The following features were developed:

1. Lightning Web Components Interface

Gistia Healthcare AI developed a custom interface using Lightning Web Components to enable client services and sales teams to associate rules preferences with existing providers. This interface allows users to select multiple rules for providers in Salesforce and Provider Ordering Console.

2. Auto-Assignment Capability

Provider Ordering Console was augmented by adding an auto-assignment capability for provider's rule preferences. This feature enables automatic assignment of rules to providers based on their preferences.

3. DocuSign Integration

To facilitate the endorsement of contracts for rules subscription, Gistia Healthcare AI integrated with DocuSign through an approval process. Whenever a user selects a rule, the DocuSign integration automatically generates a contract and sends it to the provider for signature. Users can save preferences for onsite or online signature.

4. LigoLab Integration

Gistia Healthcare AI integrated with LigoLab to ingest rules and send rules associated with provider data. This integration enables the automatic activation of selected rules for providers.

Outcomes

Gistia Healthcare AI successfully integrated the features into Salesforce, enabling client services and sales teams to associate rules preferences with existing providers. The custom interface using Lightning Web Components provides an intuitive experience for users, making it easy for them to select multiple rules for providers in Salesforce and Provider Ordering Console.

The auto-assignment capability for provider's rule preferences makes it possible to automatically assign rules to providers based on their preferences, eliminating the need for manual assignment.

The DocuSign integration provides a mechanism for endorsing contracts for rules subscription. Whenever a user selects a rule, the DocuSign integration automatically generates a contract and sends it to the provider for signature. Once the provider signs the contract, the selected rules are automatically activated.

The LigoLab integration enables the automatic activation of selected rules for providers, streamlining the workflow.
